I don't want to use console command to complete Helgen Reborn, just the particular stage I'm at. As I said, this stage is bugged. I have tried just about everything. The only thing left is a console command to get me past this particular stage.
But I can't find the quest ID anywhere. Some help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Just as an FYI the bug is the person I'm supposed to talk to being perpetually busy.
I can't complete the stage if I can't talk to him. Showing 1 - 3 of 3 comments.
It's a mod so asking at the mod page is recommended. Q - Somebody won't talk to me. It says they're busy or I can't advance the dialog even though my journal clearly tells me to speak to them.
A - They're most likely stuck in a scene.Walkthroughs for the quests from Helgen Reborna user created plugin for Skyrim. This quest starts partway through Desperate Timesafter Falco, who is dressed in Imperial armour, enters the room where Val and Marcus are talking. He wants you, as well as Falco and Cienna, to go to the prison, which he marks on the map, and try to get Korst released.
You are given Imperial Officer Armourwhich has an enchantment on it that boosts Speech by 15 points, and the Embassy Transfer Order.
First, you should try and talk Korst out of the prison but, if that fails, kill all the Thalmor. He has dispatched two of his guards to follow me to the prison, and has given me some enchanted Imperial Officer's armor to wear to impersonate an Imperial Envoy with orders to transfer Korst to the Thalmor Embassy.
The prison is located south of Helgen on the road past Fort Neugrad that leads to the Cyrodiil border. I should wear the armor and investigate the prison. Falco and Cienna will accompany you. The Thalmor Oronar will approach and take the Embassy Transfer Order from you, saying that he will need to clear it with his superior, as he knows nothing about this transfer.
He then leaves and goes and speaks to Halindil in another room. Halindil will then enter and approach you, but he refuses to release the prisoner. You can try to Persuade him, but it looks like this isn't possible without the Persuasion perk.ROMANCE MOD - Skyrim Mods - Week 157
I'm warning you! Falco and Cienna will aid in this. Once all the Thalmor are dead, you need to free Korst. He is shackled to the wall in the east of the dungeon.
Free him by activating the shackles, and he will fall to the floor. Falco will tell Cienna to help him, which she does by healing him. Falco, Cienna and Korst will chat, updating him on the situation and who you are, and Korst will then retrieve his gear from a nearby Chest.
This completes the quest, so return to Helgen Keep with the three of them, although you may want to do a bit of looting first.Welcome back to the town of Helgen! Last seen at the beginning of Skyrim being curb-stomped into splinters by the Nordic God of Destruction, Helgen has since remained a shattered ruin filled with bandit jerks Helgen Reborn invites you to play a key role in transforming Helgen into a functioning town once more.
You'll crisscross Skyrim on a sprawling adventure that includes recruiting a team of oddball soldiers, busting up a human-trafficking ring, fighting to the death in a gladiator pit, and moving into a new home with perhaps the coolest basement you've ever seen. The mod begins in Whiterun where I meet a grubby fellow named Patsy, who actually looks quite a bit like Patsy from Monty Python and the Holy Grail the first of several movie references in the mod.
Patsy sends me to find Marcus, a former Imperial soldier, who sends me to find Val, his former comrade in arms, who is holed up in the remains of Helgen pretending to be part of a bandit crew. As Dragonborn, savior of Skyrim, prophesied and sung of in songs, I find it a little rude for these guys to assume I have nothing better to do with my time than play postman, carrying messages between them all day.
Actually, I do have nothing better to do with my time, but these guys don't know that. Eventually, the two former old chums reunite at Helgen and start making plans for the future. Val is looking for revenge against the people who killed his family, and Marcus wants to rebuild Helgen, a town he visited often in his youth and thus has fond feelsies for.
I get straight to work for the both of them. First up, Val needs me to spring one of his men, who is being held in a Thalmor prison. I come up with a great plan: kill all the Thalmor with an axe.
But wait! Val has an even better plan: dress me up as an Imperial and send me in with a forged prison transfer order. Those plans always go well, right? My Imperial uniform gets me in the door, but Val's plan hits a slight snag because my Orc, who mainly communicates with others via two-handed axe blows, has not really bothered putting skill points into Speechcraft at any point ever in his entire life.
After just a few words with the Thalmor officers, they shrewdly decide this hulking brute in front of them is not actually part of an Imperial envoy transferring a prisoner to the embassy.
Having messily rescued Val's scout, I turn to Marcus and the issue of restoring Helgen. The first thing he needs are guards to protect the town from bandits and other threats while it's being rebuilt, and he gives me the choice of asking the Stormcloaks for help, or assembling a patchwork force of various loners and oddballs from all over Skyrim.
Well, that's a hell of an easy choice.Home Discussions Workshop Market Broadcasts. Change language. Install Steam. Store Page. Global Achievements. I am having problems with CTDs in two places. Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary 2.
But for Fight Cave, it crashes right after a dialogue "Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to another exciting round of the fight cave" and bam!
Here is the papyrus log file for this crash. I don't understand it, so maybe someone can read it and help me figure out the reason for crash. This, by the way, was during the fight cave, which is a part of the unofficial DLC, helgen reborn. Last edited by teegnas ; 27 Feb, am. Showing 1 - 11 of 11 comments.
Have you cleaned your files with TES5Edit and do you have the unofficial patches? What is it and what can I do with it? Here is the load order taken from modlist. Please help me if anything seems wrong in the load order. Okay your load order doesnt seem to have anything too bad in it from what I know.
The birds and flocks mod has given me personally problems in the past so becareful of that in general. I would watch and do what his video says it may fix your problem. It shows you how to clean your files. You must manually sort the left pane to match your LOOTed right pane.
Resource priority is your main issue. The file you posted is your mod list left pane. The plugins. Thanks, will try when I'm free tomorrow. I cleaned my main master files using TES5Edit following how gopher did it. Hence, I cleaned update. I matched the load order with the one arranged by LOOT. But, I am still getting the CTD at the same spot again. It's when the NPC says "Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to another round of action in the fight cave" and then bam!
Guys, is there anything else that you gyus could suggest which will make the game not crash on me? Also, does the Papyrus log file that I shared help in determining the error? You can clean dirty edits the same way you did with the update. Some of your mods esp or esm files could be dirty too.Desperate Times is a quest added by Helgen Reborn. Ralof: "Hey, you. You're finally awake. You were trying to cross the border, right? Walked right into that Imperial ambush, same as us, and that thief over there.
Skyrim was fine until you came along. Empire was nice and lazy. If they hadn't been looking for you, I could've stolen that horse and been halfway to Hammerfell.
You there You and me, we shouldn't be here. It's these Stormcloaks the Empire wants. You're speaking to Ulfric Stormcloak, the true High King. The Jarl of Windhelm? You're the leader of the rebellion.
But if they've captured you Oh gods, where are they taking us? This isn't happening. I'm from Rorikstead. The headsman is waiting! Let's get this over with.
Divines, please help me.
Skyrim: Helgen Reborn
And it looks like the Thalmor are with him. Damn elves. I bet they had something to do with this. This is Helgen.
I used to be sweet on a girl from here. Wonder if Vilod is still making that mead with juniper berries mixed in. Funny, when I was a boy, Imperial walls and towers used to make me feel so safe. Where are they going? I want to watch the soldiers. Move it!
End of the line. Let's go.It was one of the only heavily inhabited settlements located in Falkreath Hold, apart from the city of Falkreath itself and Half-Moon Mill. It is destroyed in the prologue by Alduin. It is the nearest town to one of Skyrim 's borders, making it the most effective place to host the executions here after the Imperial ambush took place. Helgen was a thriving town and keep on the southern border of Skyrim with Cyrodiil.
Before its destruction by Alduinthe keep was controlled by the Imperial Legion. Also among the prisoners was a horse thief of RoriksteadLokirand an individual later revealed to be the Dragonborn, who had also gotten caught up in the Imperial ambush, apparently while attempting to cross the border from Cyrodiil.
Though the Dragonborn's name was not on the Empire's list of those to be executed, the Imperial Captain overseeing the executions ordered their death regardless. However, moments before the sentence was carried out, Helgen was attacked and destroyed by Alduin. The Dragonborn was among the survivors to escape in the resulting chaos. The named residents of Helgen, besides Hamingare not seen again after the escape, and it can be assumed that they had either perished during the attack or managed to flee to safety.
The damage caused by Alduin's attack will remain, with most of the town razed to the ground and burnt corpses lying among the ruins. The bandits are led by a chiefwhose gear is randomized. Bottles of Mead with Juniper Berry may be found on the second floor of the ruined inn accessed by jumping down from the gap in the tower's wallif the Dragonborn returns.
It has a few distinguishing features: a wall, which is unusual for smaller towns, which some hold capitals do not have.
Mod of the Week: Helgen Reborn, for Skyrim
It also has a large keep, which is unusual for anywhere but forts and walled hold capitals. It is possible for Helgen to have been second in the Imperial chain of power in Skyrim, behind Castle Dourconsidering the strategic location not far from the southern border with Cyrodiil and midpoint for the northerly trade routes to Whiterun.
